Features in nele.ai chat

When you click on a chat message, you have various additional features and options for further processing. These differ in part in whether you click on a message sent by the user, i.e. a prompt, or on an answer from the AI.

Feature overview

The following functions are available

Features in the chat context of nele.ai.

On the one hand, you can delete a chat message (1). In this case, not only this message but the entire subsequent chat will be deleted.

Using the “Create a new chat” button (2) Start a separate chat where the selected message is transferred to the new chat as a starting point. The previous conversation history is not transferred.

The third button creates a so-called “fork” (3), in which the entire chat history up to this point is transferred to a new chat. It is therefore virtually the counterpart of the function (2), “Create a new chat,” which sets the chat message as the starting point for a new chat, but does not include the previous chat history. If a fork is created, documents and websites integrated into the chat up to this point are also transferred to the new chat.

If the new chat is created from a user's input, this chat opens and the user's input first appears in the input field, where it can be sent again to then start the chat.

With the “Create new image chat” button (4) Can a new image chat be opened, in which the selected message is transferred to the new chat as a starting point. This function is only available if you use an appropriate image processing AI model. An overview of models that can generate and process images can be found in this separate manual article.

About the light bulb (5) Create a new prompt from the content of a chat message. Note that this feature is only available for user messages, not for answers from AI. When you click on the light bulb icon, the Prompt Creation Wizard opens (this is shown in this manual article described in more detail), in which you can refine and save your input.

The “Edit Context” option (6), which is represented by the pencil icon, is only available for prompts entered by the user, but not for AI responses. You can read more about this in following text section “Edit and reuse user inputs.”

With the “Copy chat” button (7) The text of the message is copied to the clipboard of your operating system and can then be pasted again elsewhere. Right next to it is the advanced copy function “Copy chat with formatting” (8), which transfers formatting to the clipboard during the copying process.

Edit and reuse user inputs

Edit a user's chat message.

This option is only available for prompts entered by the user and not for AI responses. You can use this function to adjust the text you have sent later.

To do so, click on the chat message you want to edit and select the pencil icon (1). The text is then approved for editing.

About the paperclip icon (2) They can subsequently integrate documents or websites. If there are already previously integrated documents or websites here, they can be deleted or supplemented with more in this step (you can find out more about the integration in this separate manual article).

Confirm your entry with “Send” (1a) or end the process with “Cancel” (1b).

Note that if you adjust one of your messages in the middle of a call, the subsequent, existing conversation history will change.
